Buildlet Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 18, 2026. Buildlet is designed so helpers can work in the background with clear allowances and clear boundaries.
What Buildlet is
Buildlet lets you describe routines once, set the allowances you want, and receive updates when something matters. Buildlet helpers only act within the allowances you choose.
Buildlet does not sell personal data.
What data we collect
We collect the data needed to operate your account and deliver your helpers:
- Account data such as your email address
- Buildlet setup data such as prompts, schedules, and selected allowances
- Delivery data such as destination email and test results
- Product analytics data only when you allow optional analytics
How helpers use your data
Helpers use your configuration data only to carry out the routine you defined. If you allow web retrieval, Buildlet fetches only the sources needed for that routine. If you allow email delivery, Buildlet sends updates to the destination you provided.
Helpers are not allowed to take actions outside your chosen allowances.
Tracking and cookies
Buildlet uses essential cookies for sign-in, security, and onboarding continuity. Optional analytics cookies help us improve reliability and usability.
You can choose between Accept All and Essential Only, and change your choice in Privacy Settings anytime.
User controls
- Change optional analytics tracking at any time
- Edit Buildlet allowances whenever you want
- Pause, update, or republish your Buildlets
Data retention
We keep account and Buildlet records as long as needed to provide the service and maintain reliability. You can request account deletion and associated data removal.
Security approach
Buildlet emphasizes clear allowances, visible setup, and predictable behavior. We prioritize guardrails, access boundaries, and change transparency so background automation stays understandable.
